"Amen, amen, I say to you, when you were younger, you used to dress yourself and go where you wanted; but when you  grow old, you will stretch out your hand, and someone else will dress you and lead you where you do not want to go" [John 21:18]

 +The beginning: Iraq invades Kuwait.
-------And the vicar goes to the Rhône River-----------

1+ Century  VII - Quatrain 22. Old French.
Les Citoyens de Mesopotamie.
Irez encontre amis de Tarraconne,
Ieux, rits, banquets, toute gent endormie
Vicaire au Rosne, prins cité, ceux d'Ausone.

Century VII - Quatrain 22. Possible English traslation
The citizens of Mesopotamia (actually Iraq),
Angry with their friends from Tarragona (Spain),
Games, rites, banquets, every person asleep
The vicar  at Rhône, city taken, those of Ausonia (Italy).
Note: When roses bloom? Spring?

+ As I have explained above, this quatrain explains the invasion of Kuwait. This invasion will be the source of a series of misfortunes that take the pope to flee Rome and reach the Rhone, and the defeat of Italy. And all this will happen unexpectedly.

+ The Pope's fate be decided near the river Rhone (France).

Mouth of the river Rhone (France).

More explanation look linK:

 +The Pope is in danger
(Stay away from the two rivers)

2+ Century II - Quatrain 97.Old French:
Romain Pontife garde de t'approcher,
De la cité qui deux fleuves arrouse,
Ton sang viendras aupres de là cracher,
Toi & les tiens quand fleurira la rose.

Century II - Quatrain 97. Possible English traslation:
Roman pontiff beware of approaching
a city watered by two rivers.
You will spit blood in that place,
both you and yours, when the roses bloom.

3+ Century IX . Quatrain 68, Old French:
Du mont Aymar(1)  sera noble obscurcie,
Le mal viendra au ioinct de Saone & Rosne
Dans bois cachez soldats iour de Lucie,
Qui ne fut onc vn si horrible throsne.

Century IX . Quatrain 68, Possible English translation:
From Montélimar(1) noble will be made obscure,
The evil will come at the junction of the Saône & Rhône
Soldiers hidden in the woods on Lucia's day,
Never was there so horrible throne.

Look:The evil will come at the junction of the Saône & Rhône (near to Lyon).

Comment about "Lucia´s day":
+ If the "throne" is the throne of St. Peter, is "Lucia" is Lucia and "soldiers" are soldiers murderers, then we HAVlNG the third secret of Fatima.

+ "The three mysteries of Fatima" is the name used to refer to three secrets, according to Catholic tradition, the Virgin of Fatima would have committed to three Portuguese shepherd.

- Lúcia then wrote the 3 secret down and sealed it in an envelope not to be opened until 1960, when "it will appear clearer.":

The third part of the secret revealed at the Cova da Iria-Fátima, on 13 May 1917:

-After the two parts which I have already explained, at the left of Our Lady and a little above, we saw an Angel with a flaming sword in his left hand; flashing, it gave out flames that looked as though they would set the world on fire; but they died out in contact with the splendour that Our Lady radiated towards him from her right hand: pointing to the earth with his right hand, the Angel cried out in a loud voice: 'Penance, Penance, Penance!'.

-And we saw in an immense light that is God: 'something similar to how people appear in a mirror when they pass in front of it' a Bishop dressed in White 'we had the impression that it was the Holy Father'. Other Bishops, Priests, men and women Religious going up a steep mountain, at the top of which there was a big Cross of rough-hewn trunks as of a cork-tree with the bark; before reaching there the Holy Father passed through a big city half in ruins and half trembling with halting step, afflicted with pain and sorrow, he prayed for the souls of the corpses he met on his way; having reached the top of the mountain, on his knees at the foot of the big Cross he was killed by a group of soldiers who fired bullets and arrows at him, and in the same way there died one after another the other Bishops, Priests, men and women Religious, and various lay people of different ranks and positions.

-Beneath the two arms of the Cross there were two Angels each with a crystal aspersorium in his hand, in which they gathered up the blood of the Martyrs and with it sprinkled the souls that were making their way to God.

+ The Pope's ordeal began in Montelimar and finish near Lyon, the junction of the Saône & Rhône , and then shall the third secret of Fatima as written by Lucia and and as was dreamed by Jeane Dixon.

See Lyon, Montelimar, Tarascon and the rivers.
+ 1.  The explanation is on this link:

 +Roman (pontiff) flee, flee!.... (2 about Fesulan/o)

+ Century VII - Quatrain 8. Old French:
Flora, fuis, fuis le plus proche Romain,
Au Fesulan (1) sera conflict donné:
Sang espandu, les plus grands prins a main,
Temple ne sexe ne sera pardonné.

Century VII - Quatrain 8. Possible English Traslation:
Flora, flee, flee the nearest Roman,
Fiesole (1) will be conflict given:
blood shed, the greatest one take by the hand,
Neither sex nor tample will be pardoned.

+ Century VIII - Quatrain 16. Old French:
Au lieu que HIERON(2) fait sa nef fabriquer,
Si grand deluge sera et si subite,
Qu'on n'aura lieu ne terre s'ataquer,
L'onde monter
Fesulan(1) Olympique.

Century VII - Quatrain 8. Possible English Traslation:
The place which Holy Pope(2) made his ship built,
So great and so sudden deluge will,
that one will not have a place nor land to fall upon,

The wave
Fiesole(1) Olympic ascend.

+ It is Obvious if "Roman"= Roman pontiff.

+ 2. HIERON = from greek "ιερός" = "Holy" or "Sacred"
"At the place where HIERON has his ship built" means Vatican City,Rome, Italy. The "ship" means the ship of St. Peter, the fisherman of men, the Catholic Church.

+ Nothing and no one will be respected.

+ 1. Fesulan/o = Fiesole (Tuscany, Italy) because .......

The first recorded mention on the town dates to 283 BC, when the town, then known as Faesulae, was conquered by the Romans. In pagan antiquity it was the seat of a famous school of augurs, and every year twelve young men were sent thither from Rome to study the art of divination.

Fiesole is a town and comune of the province of Florence in the Italian region of Tuscany, on a famously scenic height above Florence, 8 km (5 mi) NE of that city. According to the 2003 census, its population was 14,100.

+ Die three leagues from the Rhone

5+ Century VIII - Quatrain 46. Old French:
Pol mensolee mourra trois lieus du Rosne,
Fuis les deux prochains tarasc destroits:
Car Mars fera le plus horrible trosne,
De coq eet d'aigle de France freres trois.

Century VIII - Quatrain 46. Possible English traslation:
Paul Mausoleum die three leagues from the Rhone,
Flee the next two tarascan
narrow (or pass) :
Because Mars will most horrible throne,
Cock and eagle of France three brothers.

Comments about "Pol Mensolee":
There are a number of very similar words in quatrains related to someone who will be killed. Are these words: mensolee Pol, Pol Mansol, Mansol ....
+ I think "Paul" is "Pol", symbol of the apostle St. Paul
and "Mansol" or "Mensolee" means "Mausoleum" or tomb of "Mausolus" (The mausoleum is a sumptuous monument and tomb)

+ If you know who was the one to the other, and you can you establish the relationship with Benedict XVI and his fate.

+ There is another option: Mansol / Mensolee can refer to a small town near Lyon called Monsols. Monsols is a French commune in the Rhône-Alpes, Rhône department in the district of Villefranche-sur-Saône and Monsols Canton.

The village of Monsols is a small village located south east of France. The area code for Monsols is 69135 (also known as code INSEE), and the Monsols zip code is 69860. This could be the place where the Pope will have his mausoleum.

+ So far these quatrains were considered warnings to John Paul II.  Now, are only 2 Popes according to the prophecy of the Popes. Then ... Why Benedict XVI may be Pol or Paul?

 St. Paul:
+ Presented at first with the name Saul (Acts 7:58), was an active persecutor of the Christians under the influence of the Pharisees. In fact approved the execution of Stephen (Acts 8:1), the first martyr (protomartyr called) of the first Christian community, who was the victim of stoning not because of the barbarity of the crowd, but as the fulfillment of a judicial execution, for Saul, had the permission of Rome.

The Conversion of St. Paul the Apostle

 - According to the Acts of the Apostles, after the martyrdom of Stephen to the year 34, Saul / Paul had a vision of the road to Damascus, and became a follower of Christ.

Paul asserted that he received the Gospel not from any person, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ (Gal. 1:11-12). Paul claimed almost total independence from the Jerusalem community and yet appeared eager to bring material support to Jerusalem from the various budding Gentile churches that he planted. In his writings, Paul persistently used the persecutions he claimed to have endured, in terms of physical beatings and verbal assaults, to claim proximity and union with Jesus and as a validation of his teaching.

Benedict XVI:
+Original name Joseph Aloisius Ratzinger, In 1981 he was called to Rome to be prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith by Pope John Paul II.

- The Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith (CDF) (Congregatio pro Doctrina Fidei), previously known as the Supreme Sacred Congregation of the Roman and Universal Inquisition (wherefrom arose the names Roman Inquisition or Holy Inquisition popularly used in reference to the 16th century tribunals against witchcraft and heresy), and after 1904 called the Supreme Sacred Congregation of the Holy Office.

+ The Inquisition, Inquisitio Haereticae Pravitatis (inquiry on heretical perversity), was a group of decentralized institutions within the justice system of the Roman Catholic Church whose aim was to "fight against heretics". It started in 12th century France to persecute heresy, and was later expanded to other European countries. Inquisition practices were used also on offences against canon law other than heresy.

+ Ratzinger was criticized for its alleged neo-conservative profile.

By virtue of his position was also responsible for studying the compatibility of liberation theology with Catholic doctrine, he competed prohibit the practice of teaching in the name of the Church to dissident theologians like Hans Küng, Leonardo Boff and others, several of them Spanish.

- While Ratzinger was considered the favorite to be Pope for most international media, others maintained that his election would be far from reality because very few papal predictions in modern history had come true. The election of his predecessors John Paul I and John Paul II had been surprising. Although he was the favorite, was a surprise to many him elected.

+ Ratzinger is the current Pope of the Catholic Church with the name Benedict XVI.

I suppose:
+ Both Ratzinger / Benedict XVI as Saul / Paul persecuted those who disagreed with the official doctrine and suddenly found themselves in a situation that led to a change of name, occupation and thought. And they will have the most desirable death for a Christian: to die in a religious persecution.

+ The mausoleum is a sumptuous monument and tomb.

+ Paul Mausolus or Mausoleum of Paul: The Mausoleum of Halicarnassus was a monumental white marble tomb. It was built in honor of Mausolus, king of Caria. According to historians, Mausolus life has nothing remarkable except for the construction of his tomb.

+ In 353 BC, Mausolus died, leaving Artemisia II of Caria, his wife, to rule alone. As a tribute to him, she decided to build him a tomb so famous that Mausolus' name is now the eponym for all stately tombs, in the word mausoleum. The construction was also so beautiful and unique it became one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

Mausoleum at Halicarnassus or Tomb of Mausolus
+ We must expect that the representative of Christ on earth is persecuted and killed in a new religious persecution, as expected in the prophecy of the Popes, which is awful and beautiful at once. He will be sacrificed in defense of the faith, which is the most beautiful ..... someone say

So beautiful is a mausoleum?
(you need a map of France and then you you can understand the meaning of my puzzle pieces)

6+ Century IX - Quatrain 85. Old French:
Passer Guienne, Languedoc & le Rosne,
D'Agen tenans de Marmande & la Roole,
D'ouurir par foy parroy, Phocen tiendra son trosne
Conflict aupres sainct Pol de Manseole.

Century IX - Quatrain 85. Possible English traslation:
To pass Guyenne, Languedoc & the Rhône,
From Agen holding Marmande & La Réole,
To open through faith the wall, Marseilles will hold its throne
Conflict near Saint Paul de Mausoleum.
+The names are places in the south of France, from Bordeaux to Marseilles, from the Atlantic coast to the Mediterranean sea. Marmande is located 35 km north-west of Agen, on the southern railway from Bordeaux to Sète. La Réole is located on the right bank of the Garonne, 38 miles (61 km) southeast of Bordeaux by rail.

+The Greeks founded Phocians in these territories south of a town called Massalia (now Marseille). From this period we have the first data and information on Gaul and the Gauls. And Marseille is a port city and commune in southern France, capital of the department of Var and the Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur.

Comment: This is the front line that will be broken by those who have faith and Marseille will be the grand prize for the invaders. The violence will come even the Holy Pope.

7+ Century IV - Quatrain 27. Old French:
Salon, Mansol, Tarascon de SEX(1). l'arc(2),

2+ The Romans called the place where today this Monaco "Portus" or "Arx Herculis Monoeci". According to an ancient myth, Hercules passed through the Monaco area and turned away the previous gods. As a result, a temple was constructed there, the temple of Hercules Monoikos. Because the only temple of this area was the "House" of Hercules, the city was called Monoikos.
-arx Monoeci is Monaco, a rocky promontory on the Mediterranean coast between France and Italy.
Comment: Southern French cities referral destination of the pope, someone might try to save him.

+1 The Jura Mountains  are a sub-alpine mountain range located north of the western Alps, separating the Rhine and Rhone rivers and forming part of the watershed of each. The range is predominantly located in France and Switzerland, extending into Germany. In France, the Jura covers most of the Franche-Comté region, stretching south into in the Rhône-Alpes region.
+2 delues   I guess that means "dilués" (diluted) or "deluge" (Flood).

+3 brodes  Refers to Bodiontici or Brodiontii, a people conquered by Augustus in 14 BC.The Brodiontis (Brodiontii) was an Alpine people mentioned by Pliny the young. People might think that the same people that Bodiòntics. A city named Bodrom, valley of the Olle, a tributary of the Isere, Grenoble under, would retain its name. This area was a strategic site between Provence and the Alps and occupied throughout Antiquity. Digne-les-bains (Dinia) was the capital of the Bodiontici or Brodiontii.

+4 I suppose "Vlme" is "Ultimum" (latin word) means "Last" (Others say it is the name of a city).

Comment: A decisive battle near Lyon and the attack will come from land Switzerland (near to Grenoble).

(you need a map of France and Italy and then you you can understand the meaning of my puzzle pieces)

+2 The Aventine Hill is one of the seven hills on which ancient Rome was built. It belongs to Ripa, the twelfth rione, or ward, of Rome. Most Roman sources trace the name of the hill to a legendary king Aventinus.

+3  Aix-en-Provence (France). It was founded as Aix (Aquae Sextiae) the 123. C. by the Roman consul Sextius Calvinus, which he named.

- Etimology: Provençal Occitan: Ais de Provença in classical norm, or Ais de Prouvènço in Mistralian norm, pronounced [ˈajz de pʀuˈvɛⁿsɔ]), or simply Aix (pronounced: [ɛks]; "Ex", medieval Occitan Aics), is a city-commune in southern France, some 30 km (19 mi) north of Marseille.

Comment: The Pope flees from Rome To France and then reached its decline.

10+ Century V - Quatrain 15. Old French.

- Bigorre is region in southwest France, historically an independent county and later a French province, located in the upper watershed of the Adour, on the northern slopes of the Pyrenees, part of the larger region known as Gascony. Before the French Revolution Its capital was Tarbes.

2+Tarbes is a commune in the Hautes-Pyrénées department in south-western France. To the south of Tarbes is the pilgrimage town of Lourdes and the border with Spain. The Pyrenees mountains, lying along the border between France and Spain, can be seen from the town.

+ I think this quatrain is related to the Virgin of Lourdes.

+ Lourdes is a small market town lying in the foothills of the Pyrenees, famous for the Marian apparitions of Our Lady of Lourdes said to have occurred in 1858 to Bernadette Soubirous  on a total of eighteen occasions, Lourdes has developed into a major place of Roman Catholic pilgrimage and of miraculous healings. It is logical that the Pope was there.

Bernadette Soubirous was a shepherdess and saw the Virgin at the entrance of a cave. In this place erected the Sanctuary of Lourdes where they have since occurred many cures inexplicable to science. The carving of the Virgin placed in the cave since it was carved by sculptor Joseph Hughes Fabisch. The other contents of Bernadette's reported visions were simple and focused on the need for prayer and penance. On 24 February, she reported that aquero had said Penitenço ... Penitenço ... Penitenço ("penance").
The Grotto or Cave of Our Lady of Lourdes. Wikipedia.
+ Can you remember who said the angel in the third secret of Cave of Iria-Fatima? ... the Angel cried out in a loud voice: 'Penance, Penance, Penance!'.

+ Something bad will happen to the Pope when he is in Lourdes praying in the cave or grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes.

12+ Century II - Quatrain 41. Old French:

13+ Century II - Quatrain 27. Old French:
Le devin verbe sera du ciel frappé,
Qui ne pourra proceder plus avant:
Du resserant, le secret estoupé,
Qu'on marchera par dessus & devant.

1+ The Romans called the place where today this Monaco "Portus" or "Arx Herculis Monoeci".

Comment: Being near two rivers seems to be bad for the health of many people.

A decisive battle similar to that of Stalingrad or Midway.

+ I suppose Pol Mausolee or Mansolee, Mansol or Mausol is the pope Benedict XVI.

+ The war began in Iraq for years will be decided near Lyon (France) where the Pope is killed and a comet is visible to the naked eye. I have tried to put the pieces in place but there are details that I can not explain. Just wait and see what happens. This is the 3 secret of Fatima.

Nostradamus describes the origin of the power of a great Arab leader from Persia to Rome and Lyon (France)

the kingdom of the Church will succumb to the sea.
Towards Persia very nearly a million men
will invade Egypt and Byzantium the true serpent.

+ The Vatican State is "The kigdom of the Church". Rome and Pope's state.

+ Usually translated "Lyon" as "Leo" but I think "Lyon" is "Lyon" a french city where Nostradamus wrote that the pope would die three leagues from there.

+ Nostradamus describes the origin of the power of a great Arab leader from Persia to Rome and Lyon (France) because ...
-Mars: Roman God of War , War
-Sun: Power, brightness (fame), strength
-Venus: Muslims because Friday is the day of Venus in Roman mythology and calendar, and one special day of prayer for Muslims.
