1+  NEWS
Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant announced it had executed seven prisoners, including two by crucifixion

Punishment: Two men in Raqqa, Syria, were crucified this April for allegedly killing an Isis fighter
The work of ISIL or ISIS.  The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said they were not the first crucifixions by ISIL

+ CRUCIGERE from latin word CRUCIGER ("Bearing or carryng a Cross") is usually translated as "Crusader" but there are different ways to carry a cross

Option ONE:  "Crusader", a participant in one of the Crusades. Like pilgrims, each crusader swore a vow (a votus) to be fulfilled on successfully reaching Jerusalem, and they were granted a cloth cross (crux) to be sewn into their clothes. This "taking of the cross", the crux, eventually became associated with the entire journey.
"Crusade" is a modern term, from the French croisade and Spanish cruzada. The French form of the word first appears in the L'Histoire des Croisades written by A. de Clermont and published in 1638. By 1750, the various forms of the word "crusade" had established themselves in English, French, and German. The Oxford English Dictionary records its first use in English as occurring in 1757 by William Shenstone

Option TWO:  "Power", The globus cruciger (Latin, "cross-bearing orb") is an orb (lat. globus) topped (lat. gerere = to wear) with a cross (lat. crux), a Christian symbol of authority used throughout the Middle Ages and even today on coins, iconography and royal regalia.

Option Three:  To Crucify.  Carrying a cross like Jesuschrist or  (a person) to be crucified.

I prefer this translation. Christians are persecuted in the Arab world and members of the ISIL/ISIS crucify people like this:

Brutal: The images, which could not be independently verified, appear to demonstrate Isis's uncompromising brand of hardline Islamist justice. The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights posted a photograph of the two prisoners being crucified at the roundabout with passers-by walking past apparently unfazed

OPTION FOUR  +  &  WHAT  ISIS  SAY ?   (addenda February 15, 2015)

+ ISIS Sends Out This Message To All Christians:
‘You Will Soon See An Ocean Of Blood For All THE NATION OF THE CROSS’

+ ISIS today sent out a “Coming Soon” documentary titled “Warning: Message Signed In Blood Coming Soon To ‘Nation Of The Cross’”. It will be as ISIS promised, showing a wave of Christian blood which it has spilt. It is quite horrifying.

And before the killing of the 21 Egyptian Copts, one of the militiamen addresses the camera to provoke viewers. "The security of your Crusaders is nothing but an illusion" he said.

+ Last week Barack Obama compared ISIS to Christians. The president used the Crusades from one thousand years ago as a reason to attack Christianity.

ISIS agrees with Obama.

So, It seems they want to do harm to those who carry the cross, right?

2+  MESOPOTAMIA is the name by which it is known to the area of the Middle East located between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers, although it extends to adjacent fertile areas of the strip between the two rivers, which roughly coincides with the non-desert areas of the current Iraq and the neighboring region of northeastern Syria.......

3+  "NEARBY RIVER" :  The Wadi al-Batin
Kuwait does not have any permanent rivers, but does have some wadis, the most notable of which is Wadi al Batin which forms the border between Kuwait and Iraq. Also listed are the river-like marine channels around Bubiyan Island.

The Wadi al-Batin provides a natural invasion route into Kuwait and played an important role in coalition planning for the liberation of Kuwait during the ground war phase of Operation desert storm.

Battle of Wadi al-Batin Battle between U. S. VII Corps and the Tawakalnah Mechanized Division of the Iraqi Republican Guard on February 26, 1991, during Operation desert storm. The engagement was essentially a tank battle. A desert gulch that originates near the town of Hafar al-Batin in Saudi Arabia and runs in a northeasterly direction for about 200 miles, the Wadi al-Batin also delineates most of Kuwait’s western border with Iraq. It passes through the triborder area where the boundaries of Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Iraq intersect.

4+ " LIGTH COMPANY"....... What is a COMPANY at the time of Nostradamus?

A  GREAT  COMPANY (sometimes called a FREE COMPANY) was a late medieval army of mercenaries acting independently of any government, and thus "free". They regularly made a living by plunder when they were not employed; in France they were the routiers and écorcheurs who operated outside the highly-structured law of arms.[ The term "free company" is most applied to those companies of soldiers which formed after the Peace of Brétigny during the Hundred Years' War and were active mainly in France, but it has been applied to other companies, such as the Catalan Grand Company and companies that worked elsewhere, such as in Italy and the Holy Roman Empire.

The free companies, or companies of adventure, have been cited as a factor as strong as plague or famine in the reduction of Siena from a glorious rival of Florence to a second-rate power during the later fourteenth century; Siena spent 291,379 florins between 1342 and 1399 buying off the free companies. The WHITE COMPANY  of John Hawkwood, probably the most famous free company, was active in Italy in the latter half of the fourteenth century.

BERTRAND DU GLESCIN (1314/20 - 1380)
+  He was a French soldier and Constable famous in his country for the role he played in the Hundred Years War against England, and in Spain  is also famous for having been involved in campaigns between Enrique II Transtamare "the fratricideheld against his brother King Pedro I of Castile

It was the perfect type of French adventurers those living fourteenth century of war and rapine for the awful mess that had caused the Hundred Years War. Very young, as head of  WHITE COMPANY, at sixteen or seventeen, and gave evidence of his strength and daring, knocking in a tournament several gentlemen. At that time the British ruled much of France, and in front of a handful of men bitter struggle waged against them, appealing to the guerrilla system, surprises and ambushes, whose victims were always isolated detachments and convoy escorts.

In 1366, Bertrand convinced the leaders of the "GREATS  COMPANIES", who had been pillaging France after the Treaty of Brétigny, to join him in an expedition to Spain to aid Enrique II of Trastámara against Pedro I

Thus LIGTH COMPANY means "small army". Kuwait's army  was  and  is  very small,  is the smallest army of the area bordering Iraq.

5+  LAW & FOE:

+ To Arabic-speaking people, sharia (shariah, shari'a, sharīʿah; Arabic: شريعة‎ šarīʿah, IPA: [ʃaˈriːʕa], "legislation"), also known as Islāmī qānūn (اسلامی قانون), means the moral code and religious law of a prophetic religion. In English usage, the term "sharia" has been largely identified with Islam.

The concept of crime, judicial process, justice and punishment embodied in sharia is different from that of secular law. The differences between sharia and secular laws have led to an on-going controversy as to whether sharia is compatible with secular democracy, freedom of thought, and women's rights.

Total and unqualified submission to the will of Allah (God) is the fundamental tenet of Islam: Islamic law is therefore the expression of Allah’s command for Muslim society and, in application, constitutes a system of duties that are incumbent upon a Muslim by virtue of his religious belief. Known as the Sharīʿah (literally, “the path leading to the watering place”), the law constitutes a divinely ordained path of conduct that guides Muslims toward a practical expression of religious conviction in this world and the goal of divine favour in the world to come.

+ Islamic fundamentalism (Arabic: usul, the "fundamentals") is based on Islamic ideology and is a group of religious ideologies seen as advocating a return to the fundamentals of Islam.  Definitions of Islamic fundamentalism vary.

Jihadism (also jihadist movement or jihadi movement) refers to the renewed focus on armed jihad in Islamic fundamentalism

Jihadism with an international, Pan-Islamist scope in this sense is also known as Global Jihadism. Generally the term jihadism denotes Sunni Islamist armed struggle. Sectarian tensions led to numerous forms of (Salafist and other Islamist) jihadism against Shia, Sufi and Ahmadi mosques.

The goals of the Jihadists are usually gradual and medium term pass to overthrow governments led by moderate Muslims who they consider apostates, wicked and corrupt, being warm and hypocrites and be allies of the West. Are most Muslim countries including Saudi Arabia, a country that has often been put in the spotlight of the jihadists in order to overthrow the monarchy. Thereby seeking to consolidate related states from which to launch its expansion, with claims to recover "unlawfully usurped" Islamic lands and recreate the radical Islamist caliphate worldwide

+In 1990 the Iraqi army crossed the river (Wadi al-Batin)  and defeated the small army of Kuwait.

+ Since then everything has gone from bad to worse. The Sunni leader Saddam Hussein tried to be an advocate for Muslims and now another Sunni leader (ISIL / ISIS)  claims to be the same thing with brutal methods against the world, Thus Kuwait was an invention of the western countries ruled by a corrupt pro-Western government.

They (the sect) want to impose the Sharia law, is the body of Islamic law.  The introduction of sharia is a longstanding goal for Islamist movements globally, including in Western countries, but attempts to impose sharia have been accompanied by controversy, violence, and even warfare.

...... and this sect will win according to Nostradamus...... until when?

+ On Sunday, Abu Mohammed al-Adnani, a spokesman for the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), announced the Al Qaeda offshoot had named Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi the leader of the new caliphate and formally declared the creation of an Islamic state in the territory under its control. Al-Adnani called on those living in the area under the group’s control to swear allegiance to al-Baghdadi.

  2. Address by PM Netanyahu at the Institute for National Security Studies

"The Sykes-Picot agreement which, almost a century ago, defined the borders in our region, has come to an end. This arrangement was maintained during the first half of the 20th century by colonial powers and later by secular Arab dictatorships. When these regimes collapsed during the Arab revolution, all the demons in the Middle Eastern bottle were uncorked – Sunnis versus Shiites, tribe against tribe, sect against sect, movement against movement. The hope that moderate liberal movements will take the reins in Arab states quickly evaporated, and we are now looking at many years of conflict and instability. "

"Iraqi Christians Flee Mosul as ISIS Orders Them to Convert or Be Killed"

A majority of Christians in Mosul fled Iraq’s second-largest city ahead of a Saturday afternoon deadline issued by Sunni insurgents for them to convert to Islam. If they chose not to convert, they were told they could pay a tax, leave or be killed, NBC News learned. The deadline set by the insurgents, known as ISIS, was noon local time. A Catholic bishop from Mosul told Reuters that 150 Christians had already left in recent days and the ones who wanted to stay and negotiate with the insurgents were urged by church leaders to evacuate. The Christians were reportedly ordered to leave with nothing more than the clothes on their backs.

  6. + Man Declares Islam To Be A False Religion And Leaves Islam, Muslims Behead Him And Then Crucify His Corpse
    ___By Theodore Shoebat

ISIS Muslims beheaded a man in Syria and then crucified his body, for leaving Islam.............

On the statement posted on his corpse it says that he was committing “Ridda,” or defection from Islam, which is the very label Muslims give to Muslims who convert to Christianity. The statement also accuses him of “blaspheming Allah.”

Beheading and crucifying are punishments prescribed in the Koran for those who defect from Islam. As the Koran itself says:

"The punishment of anyone who fights against Allah and His apostle and do mischief in the land is to be killed or crucified or to have their hands and feet from opposite ends or be banished from the land.” (Quran: The table spread)

Crucifixion against Christians was done by Muslims throughout Islamic history. When the Moors were reinvading in the 16th century, in the Morisco Revolt, they took the two sons of a prominent man named Arze and beheaded one of them. The other they crucified; but he very happily accepted his fate to die as his Redeemer did. The Ottoman Empire also used crucifixion against Christians in their genocide.

The life of the Christian is an imitation of Christ, so as Christ died, so do His children. As Christ cares for us, so are we to care for His Church. Let us help rescue our persecuted brethren from this horror!
