TO CIA (part 3): KRIPTOS K4 SOLVED? THE SITE IS DOWN.

 SOMETHING STRANGE HAS HAPPENED

+ A few weeks ago Sanborn implied some Kryptos news was coming and now his solution submission site is down: http://kryptosclue.com/clue/clue.html

+ Jim Sanborn set up the website kryptosclue.com back in 2010 so people could submit the first 10 characters of their proposed solutions.  That website does not appear to be online anymore.

+ It expired on November 15, and he forgot (or chose not) to renew it.

If he meant to renew it, it looks like the registrar he used has a grace
period of 30 days that he can use to renew it and get the site back.

THE OFICIAL VERSION:

+ Supposedly the domain expired (confirmed) and on the yahoo group the word is that he’s working on another submission method.

Elonka  Dunin said:

"Jim Sanborn has chosen to take the kryptosclue.com site down. He was
getting way too many "junk" entries, and he just got tired of it. :/

He is working on a new method for people to submit potential answers.

I'll let you know as soon as I hear anything."

IS THIS TRUE OR IS JUST A POOR EXCUSE?

+ Remember,  a month ago I argue that: I suggest that Kryptos K4 solution is:

PEOPLE TO CREATE A SAFER, FREER WORLD AND SURELY THERE IS NO BETTER PLACE THAN BERLIN THE MEETING PLACE OF EAST AND WEST
(97 Characters)

UPDATE: The sculptor wants money  (nov 2014)

The artist who created the enigmatic Kryptos, a puzzle-in-a-sculpture that has driven code breakers to distraction since it was installed 24 years ago in a courtyard at C.I.A. headquarters in Langley, Va., has decided that it is time for a new clue.

The crush of people claiming to have solved the final puzzle, reached through a website Mr. Sanborn set up in 2010, had grown to be such a distraction that he set up a barrier to entry.

Two years ago, he instituted a $50 fee (via Western Union) for anyone wanting to test a possible solution; the fee guaranteed “an exchange of no more than two back-and-forth-emails,” and no additional clues. If Mr. Sanborn did not wish to respond to the entry, he said, he would return the money.
“It really worked very well,” he said. Although he has not made much money, Mr. Sanborn said that was not the idea: “It’s made it manageable.”

But still, no solution. So Mr. Sanborn, now 69, said, “I figured maybe I should be a little more specific.”

  2. W 2016 roku złamałam szyfr "KRYPTOS",CIA. Oto moje rozwiązanie. Kluczem do szyfru są podwójne litery. Rozwiązanie dzieli się na 2 etapy.

Rozwiązanie szyfru KRYPTOS przesłałam w dniach 14-15.08.2016 do ELONKA DUNIN,USA przez e-mail.

Rozwiązaniem szyfru "KRYPTOS" jest hasło "LEEDS". Hasło "LEEDS" ma związek z ulubioną płytą artysty Jima Sanborna. THE WHO "LIVE AT LEEDS", 1970. Artysta reklamuje tę płytę w roku 2013.
