TO FBI: 4 POSSIBLE SOLUTION OF MCCORMICK´S NOTES. (chapter 4)

              DECODE  (working in progress).

     My interpretation of the code FBI Mccormick.
( Edgar Allan Poe´s old style and before the president Obama returns to Jerusalem).


In my humble opinion: 

A+ The plaintext not exist.

B+ The original text is shorthand with deception measures.

C+ Can only be trasladed into English letters, words and, finally, make an imaginative subsequent transcription in correct English language.

---The stenographer must reconstruct the speech and that can only be done by the stenographer original (Mccormick).
(See "Criminal Minds", Season 1, episode 17 "a real rain".)

D+ The interpretation requires two phases:
1- Analyse the shorthand text.
    (To detect possible English words)

2- Performs an imaginative transcripcion.
    (To write possible phrases in correct language)


Working assumptions:

-a?= Sign or letter is doubtful.
-¿?= No idea what was written.
-Wing?= word is doubtful.
-(rs) = complement or alternative.



-The hypen join the letters in a word. -The numbers are a drawing , a series of letters and sounds too; and the numbers used to measure the space, time and establish an order.- To transcribe the shorthand text you should realize that you play with 4 decks (normal, Phonetic, Caesar cipher B or +1, and shorthand sign) at once and capriciously.

 It is a children´s game.

-Stenography is the art or process of writing in shorthand. A method used for writing down the words that someone says very quickly by using a special type of writing (called shorthand) and subsequent transcription.

-The shorthand method is varied and those who use it end up turning it into something personal and non-transferable. Thus it becomes unexpectedly in an occultation system when removes all unnecessary letters and words using all kinds of signs and disobeying grammatical norms.

Baha told police, "I just figured I'd take care of this myself," according to the incident report.

CHAPTER THREE

 + Why are the notes different despite being written by the same person?

The key is in the notes, the notes look different because it is necessary 



Explanation

The first part of the first note was written in a quiet place, maybe at home.
The rest of the text was written somewhere away from home, in a strange place and in an informal way.

This explains errors and dirty look.

IMHO notes can be divided into four parts:
1+ Note one: Work planning for monday & Autobiography
2+ Note two: Caution & Description of the place where the case is hidden.

 
Summary:
1+ Monday Mccormick to go a Marais temps Clair CA to hide something at the sight of all / Important events in the life of Mccormick (1971, 1974, 1975, murder, 1994).
2+ Explanation of how to locate the place where are buried more than $ 99,840 and something else under a shed to watch the birds/ Advice about the use of money,

And that is the meaning of the notes of the Hitchhiker, a strange mixture of last will and repentance... IMHO of course.

+ If it is a letter, the signature of the author should be at the end (2nd note)

IT SEEMS TO BE THAT NOBODY HAS DONE THE PROFILE OF THE VICTIM.



1+ McCormick suffered from chronic heart and lung problems and authorities have not ruled out the possibility that his health may have
contributed to his death. McCormick had a history of ER visits and had suffered from asthma and chest pains since childhood.
 
2+ He was seen alive late in the afternoon of June 25 at Forest Park Hospital in St. Louis, where he entered the emergency room......again.
This time he complained that he was having trouble breathing. He was not admitted and was officially released.

3+ No one had reported him missing...... He was not married but he was the father of at least four children.

4+ McCormick had a criminal record but Maj. Tom O'Connor of the Major Case Squad and St. Charles County Sheriff's Sgt. Kevin Wilson said they do not believe it contributed to his death.
 
5+ Authorities found no evidence of fights or disagreements McCormick might have had.
 
6+ McCormick was unemployed and on disability welfare but he was not homeless.
 
7+ McCormick was a high school dropout
 
8+ His father, Charles McCormick, said Ricky "couldn't spell anything, just scribble." His mother, Frankie Sparks, said "The only thing he could write was his name. ... He didn't write in no code."

+ Eventually Ricky found trouble himself. In November 1992, St. Louis police arrested the 34-year-old McCormick for having fathered two children with a girl younger than fourteen years old. McCormick had been sleeping with the girl since she was eleven, according to court files, which protected the girl's identity. 

He told his doctors he didn't abuse drugs or alcohol, a statement friends and family back up. It didn't help, however, that he smoked at least a pack of cigarettes a day since he was about ten years old and drank coffee by the gallon. By his own estimate, he told his doctors he downed more than twenty caffeinated beverages a day.

Mccormick is a  sick man, 
He wrote because he knows that is going to die soon and reveals that there is the insolved murder of someone nicknames or named "THORN".

---I do not know whether or not he participates in the murder but this is something that he can not forget.

THORN = ELROE CARR, i suppose is a geometrical shorthand character.

Carr's murder (1998) remains unsolved, and police made no arrests. But confidential informants told police Carr was killed "at the behest of Baha Hamdallah," according to St. Louis police reports obtained through a public-records request.
